Throwback Thursday - Coffee crafts

I was in a "I heart Coffee" swap and these are some things I made for my partner.  I made the mug rack at her request and painted a celtic knot on it.  She likes Irish themes so the quote on the mixed media piece says, “Only Irish coffee provides in a single glass all four essential food groups: alcohol, caffeine, sugar and fat.”

Food for the body

This was just the reminder I needed when I was trying to kick my sugar and wheat addiction.  It made me stop and think not only about what I was putting in my mouth, but why.

Throwback Thursday - Paper wreath

This is a super easy craft for the kiddos.  You cut the center out of a paper plate, then press a coffee filter in it's center and squeeze it around your finger. then glue it to the plate.  Repeat about 30 times, add a bow and a string to hang it, and voila.   I added a little bit of gold glitter spray.  You can also make smaller versions with cupcake papers and get fun colors.
